This Emptiness Is Heavy

I wish this is just a movie where the joke is not on me.

Sadly, it’s not and right now, I’m stuck in a crowded airport surrounded by people who all have someone with them. To put it simply, it sucks. It magnifies that feeling that there must be something seriously wrong with me to feel this empty and sad. There must be something wrong with me to still be alone at this point in my life.

I know I’ve been feeling empty for a while now. Tonight, seeing all these people going home to their families just makes my emptiness feel heavier than usual.
