I Got a New Job!

I still remember waking up to my phone ringing non-stop just a few weeks ago. It was a job recruiter calling me to see if I was available for an interview.

I was still groggy from sleep then and quite disoriented. When she asked if I was available on Wednesday for an interview appointment, I nonchalantly asked if that would be tomorrow.

Yep, that was how embarassingly clueless I was with the days of the week as of late.

I've been doing freelance ever since the last week of September, so I've been pretty much my own boss when it came to my schedule these past few weeks. This basically means I can screw Monday if I want to. LOL. 

That's about to change though.

Tomorrow, November 19th, I'll be starting my new job as a marketing copywriter for a startup company. This is my first time to be connected with a non-BPO establishment, and a startup at that, so it's very exciting.  

This is also my first foray of writing in the fintech world (think cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology and Bitcoin and Ethereum, to name a few) so that's also something to look forward to.

I'm no expert when it comes to those things. Hell, I prolly can't even be considered a noob because I've never dealt with those stuff before but reading about them these past few days really opened my eyes - there are so many amazing things to learn and not enough time!

Considering how big Bitcoin and blockchain technology are at the moment, it really feels like I've been living under a rock all these times hahaha.

So that's what really hypes me up when it comes to new experiences like getting a new job or befriending a new colleague or visiting a new place - the opportunities to learn something I have absolutely no idea about are just endless. 

I guess that's it for now. Wish me luck for tomorrow. I really need to get my sleep pattern back to normal. Urgh. Cheerios, earthlings.
