Mama's 65th

If you've followed me or randomly read my blog for one reason or another, you'll know that I'm here in Cebu right now for my mom's 65th birthday, which was yesterday.

I have to admit that I have my doubts about everything going smoothly considering that it was a pretty big event and my mom did not believe in having an event coordinator doing all the works.

Yep, for a party with more than a hundred invited guests, my mom decided to do everything herself with a couple of tasks thrown my way.

I absolutely have no problem with helping out but I guess it would have been comforting to know that someone who's experienced when it comes to hosting events is helping out my mom.

But be that as it may, and thank heavens it did not rain, everything turned out well. It was a big event, it was not that long, and everything turned out the way they're supposed to turn out.

Considering how bogus organizers are so prevalent these days, we're very fortunate that the people that my mom and I had tapped turned out to be awesome and really went out of their way to accommodate our special and last-minute requests and what-not.

The amazing team that helped us pull it off includes:

3. Judy Gonzaga - for the amazing cakes and dessert buffet

I personally found the setup magical and adorable and so so pretty. The event was held in our own place, which we are planning to develop into a resort someday. It was nice because it gave the guests a glimpse of how the location can be as an event venue so hopefully, they'll turn into our future clients hahaha.
